What do I Provide as a Postpartum Doula?
I support families in the first few weeks or months after childbirth . My role is to ensure a smooth transition into parenthood by offering emotional, physical, and practical assistance tailored to each family's needs. My goal is to create a safe place for mothers to exist after welcoming a new baby. I provide invaluable support in caring for your newborn, helping you and your partner feel more confident and at ease in your new role. From guidance on newborn care to supporting a mother as she heals and assisting with feeding whether breastfeeding, bottle feeding, or both I am here to help. As long as I am here you never have to be alone on your journey through motherhood.

I also offer practical assistance in balancing household responsibilities, establishing new routines, and managing daily challenges. My role is to create a nurturing environment where every family member feels supported, reassured, and confident as they navigate this new chapter together.
What is a Sibling Doula?
A sibling doula is a type of doula who provides care and support specifically for older siblings during the birth of a new baby. Their role is to help the older child(ren) feel safe, supported, and included during what can be a big and sometimes emotional transition.
What I Offer As A Sibling Doula

On-Call Support: I provide 24/7 on-call availibility starting at 37 weeks. This service is available when labor begins, ready to step in at home, the birth center, or the hospital as planned.

Emotional Support: I help older siblings process the changes, answer questions in age-appropriate ways, and provide comfort during what can be an overwhelming time.

Practical Care: The doula plays with, feeds, and maintains the child’s normal routines to create a sense of stability.

Labor and Birth Explanation (If Present): If the child is present during labor or birth, the doula can gently explain what’s happening and offer reassurance.

Post-Birth Bonding: The sibling doula can help encourage and guide the sibling’s first interactions with the new baby, supporting a positive start to the sibling relationship.
